Editorial Policy

ALGERIATECH is committed to publishing accurate, independent, and transparent technology intelligence. This policy governs how we research, write, review, and correct our content.

The Filter Is the Product

What we do not publish matters as much as what we publish. Every article we pass on protects our readers’ time. The day we cover everything, we become the noise we were created to eliminate. Our editorial team applies strict curation criteria to every signal before it becomes an article.

Algerian Reality Before Global Hype

Every trend passes the same test: Can Algeria support it (infrastructure)? Are the skills available? Is the timeline realistic? If not, we do not amplify hype with no local landing point. Our Decision Radar™ framework systematically evaluates relevance, infrastructure readiness, skills availability, and action timeline for every global signal.

Honesty Before Optimism

The Decision Radar must tell the truth, even when the answer is “wait” or “skip.” Credibility is built on good timing and discernment, not on making every trend feel urgent. When our assessment is negative or cautious, we publish it that way.

Fact-Checking Standards

Every factual claim in an ALGERIATECH article must be traceable to a primary source. Our fact-checking process includes:

  • All statistics, data points, and quantitative claims are verified against their original source before publication.
  • Company announcements are cross-referenced with official press releases, regulatory filings, or verified reporting.
  • Government policy references cite the specific law, decree, or official statement.
  • When exact data is unavailable, we clearly indicate estimates and attribute them.

Source Transparency

Every article includes a Sources & Further Reading section with clickable links to original sources. We show our work — every assertion can be challenged, and readers can verify claims independently. We are transparent by design, because trust is earned through verifiability.

Editorial Independence

Our editorial agenda is guided by what matters — not by vendor communication cycles. We do not accept payment for coverage or favorable treatment. When content is sponsored or produced in partnership, it is clearly labeled, and editorial judgment remains separate. No external party has pre-publication review rights over our editorial content.

Corrections Policy

If we publish an error, we correct it promptly and transparently:

  • Minor corrections (typos, formatting) are fixed in place without notation.
  • Factual corrections are noted at the end of the article with the date and nature of the correction.
  • Significant corrections that change the meaning or conclusion of an article are noted prominently at the top of the article.
  • Readers can report errors by emailing [email protected] with the article URL and the specific issue.

No Language Left Behind

Technology intelligence should not require English fluency. A founder reading in Arabic, a manager deciding in French, a student learning in English — all deserve the same access to relevant signals. All articles are published in English, French, and Arabic.

Consistency Before Virality

A reliable weekly signal is worth more than a viral spike followed by silence. We build a habit — and habits build trust. Our publishing cadence prioritizes regular, high-quality output over attention-seeking content.

Community-Centered

Startups, events, founders, researchers — these are not “content subjects.” They are the community we serve. Visibility creates opportunity, and opportunity accelerates progress. We cover Algeria’s tech ecosystem not as observers, but as participants invested in its success.
